APPLICATIONS

For the removal and filtration of overspray generated in the application of Sunless Tanning solutions. When sunless tanning solution is sprayed through an airbrush or HVLP spray gun, a certain amount of the solution does not settle on the body, but floats around in the atmosphere. Some will be breathed in by both the client or therapist, some will settle on the walls and furniture covering them in a brown stain. By using the SolarEx Mist extractor, this can be reduced to a minimum, making a cleaner healthier working environment.

FILTRATION

The particulate filter is a three stage, graduated fibre filter. The open structure of the first stage discourages surface loading and promotes depth filtration, ensuring a high dust holding capacity and reducing resistance to airflow. The denser backing filter and final scrim material provides finer filtration to 5 micron. NB: Spray particulate size varies from 10 to 20 microns.

A PST pad filter is fitted behind the particulate filter (fan side) to act as a final line of defence

Always ensure that the particulate filter element is fitted correctly. NEVER TURN THE FILTER AROUND.

Filters should be replaced after 70 full body spray applications.

Through the process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced.
